What's more, First Direct are so sure you'll love their personal service (you get straight through to a real person every time you call), that if you're not satisfied after 6 months they'll give you another £100 and help you move.
How to benefit
Open a current account with First Direct online, you can do this by visiting www.firstdirect.com/1st-account/. This is incredibly simple to do as their 'Easy Switch' facility means that they do all the leg work such as moving your standing orders and direct debits for you.
You'll then need to transfer income of at least £1500 into your new account within 3 months. Once this amount has been paid in First Direct will credit £100 to your bank balance.
Expiry date
There is no advertised expiry date for this 'satisfaction guarantee' offer.
Conditions
This offer is only available to individuals who haven't previously held a current account with First Direct.
Additionally, to operate you account free of charge you will need to pay in a salary or income of at least £1500 a month, maintain an average monthly balance of £1500, or hold a selected First Direct financial product such as a savings account or credit card. If you don't meet these conditions a fee of £10 per month will be imposed.
